Is Writing a Paper a Good Idea For Mena A PhD Candidates?Should you send your homework to mena a PhD candidate in psychology or is it alright to write your own thesis? It's a good question and I think the answer has a lot to do with the level of the Ph.D. Candidate, the subject matter and the student.During the homecoming game for my daughter this past Friday, she had been working as a cheerleader and that included helping someone on the sidelines to write a letter home from the game. She did this with her hands and I remember when I was in college going to a class at the college and watching them write some papers with their hands. It was a labor of love and nothing like having a ghost writer to write your thesis for you. This seems odd but I'm not sure why it is that way.My personal experience with writing a paper for mena was with a professor who required a large amount of documentation to be submitted during his tenure. I was expected to deliver this in a way that was acceptable for the doctorate and my work was being graded on grammar and style. On my first paper, I nearly ended up deleting it because it was so bad. My thought was 'Why even go through the effort of trying to write a paper this bad?' If there were some benefits to writing a thesis yourself, I would have re-written it from scratch.I was tempted to ask one of the assistants at mena, when I saw him as he was completing one of my papers. I could see he was struggling and when I asked if he needed any help I got a 'No' answer. I think he was told not to make any corrections on the paper and he should try and finish up as soon as possible.I will admit that there were times when I felt the pressure to get the paper done as quickly as possible. I understand why it is expected of me to complete my homework and I do not fault the doctorate program for this expectation. There are many such demands as students in their years preparing for their doctorate.At mena, the expectation for research papers or independent work is always that the students need to finish it on time. There is no exception to this rule and the level of documentation that must be completed for mena PhD candidates in the program must be met.I also ran into a fellow Manana Professor this year and I asked him about the department's thesis requirement. He told me it was to provide more of a challenge for their students. He is an active member of the faculty and I think he would agree that there are challenges to working with research material that he has created. He prefers the students write the research paper themselves and take the blame when it is a bad piece of work.My point is that you should really take your dissertation paper into your own hands and write the project yourself. It is not that hard to do and it will allow you to be proud of what you have done.
